You will be primarily responsible for selling surplus chemicals and chemical co-products offered to EIS through various existing suppliers and also by postings to SurplusChem.com. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous sales or customer service experience with a major chemical distributor or equivalent is required. General knowledge of chemicals and chemical hazards. A reasonable knowledge of chemical buyers and chemical markets is preferred, including knowledge of buyers and markets for alcohols, amines, acids, alkali, glycols. Familiar with Word, Excel, the Internet, and e-mail. Ability to learn in-house tools, services and programs. Strong organization, prioritization and follow-through skills. Strong written, verbal and oral communication skills. Strong problem-solving and judgment skills.
